Ok I just picked my GTX260 up, the box was like really small, and there is no backplate on it -_-"


Oh well, it works great ^^


It got these awesome colored DVI ports too :D

That is normal. All the 180.xx and newer drivers do that.

When you are not in 3D mode, it will clock down automatically to save electric power.

Getting some really nice temperatures compared to the 9800gtx..

37C with 40% fanspeed.

9800gtx was 40c with 60-65% fanspeed


Its probably the autodownclock thing

It runs just fine, on my current OC I got 16800 in 3dmark07 (had 15500 with my 9800gtx)

Im gonna do a heavier clock to it, temps is just fine.

As for games, I do notice a slightly higher fps

they dont make the card only the cooler and the pcb the chip bin comes from nvidia
