Ok is overclocking really good?

i bought this pc in january
its good alright but now i realized my motherboard does not support my cpu

but it works just fine but i can not over clock

so do u think i should buy a new motherboard and overclock  will it help my pc in any way ??

im getting a new cooler too so i can overclock but is it really usefull  ?

What revision is your motherboard? R1, R2 or R3?

And yes you need a good cooler if you're going to overclock.

Overclocking is ok, depending on the software, sometimes the results can be a little worse than stock, somtimes a little better or no change at all.  And sometimes the gains in performance can be really high.

I found this.

http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/326865-30-does-970a-support-8350

Massive problem with Asus Sabertooth 990fx R1 boards do not support 8320/8350 FX cpus.

AMD really needs to stop this nonsense with backward compatible sockets.

well i know that already but i bought this motherboard on 25 january 2013

so i have no choice to run 8350 with this board

as all the parts i bought are new !!

and my computer is running great even when the bios does not support it

You might want to look up an overlclocking guide for the ins and outs.
