I have read some reviews on the 7950, and alot said that it has overheating issues, is this true?

I have one. Overclocked. Never hit temps above 60C.

To the best of my knowledge, the only 7950 that has overheating issues is the Sapphire with the Vapor-X cooler, which will come close to melting it's VRM under heavy load. Most others should be fine.
