Got bored and decided to facilitate XNO (Nano) donations online.
My Devember project is to make a tipping platform, similar to Patreon, but with the option to curb excessive platform fees with the help of cryptocurrencies.
It will mostly be written in JavaScript and it will be dockerized.

I’m making a soundboard with an (hopefully) improved user interface. Trying to learn WASAPI and CI/CD while working on it.
The project’s gitlab link is in the OP of its forum thread:
Overview:
I will develop a soundboard that uses a search window instead of the 1:1 keymapping that almost all soundboards use.
What are the benefits:
You are not limited by the amount of “free” key-combinations on your keyboard. If you wanted you could also just add your entire music collection to the list of audio files. You also don’t have to …

Working on a game I’ve been prototyping. Really enjoying learning how to write shaders right now.
Goal: See how much progress I can make this December.

I’m going to build something to check if my deployed helm charts can be updated.
Hi everyone,
I’m really bad at just installing helm charts and leaving them running in my k8s cluster. I have a lot of deployed charts that are very out of date. I also don’t really know the nitty-gritty of how helm 3 works.
I figured a good way to remedy both of these things was to build something to keep tabs on the charts I have deployed and i…

I made it long winded and official. The RPG character maker is now… a thing I must do. Also got official permission from the rest of the team.

My Devember project will be to build an automation to build several versions of the Blender bpy
module (ideally something like bpy-lts-full
, bpy-lts-lite
, bpy-nightly-full
, bpy-nightly-lite
) and automatically upload them to pypi.org .

I’m back again for Devember! Oh, it already started a month ago…
I’m not sure how much I will commit to this, as I my main project right now is 3D printing related, but I have set some low goals which I intend to get done and then I might do more if there is time:
Two years ago (GitHub tells me) I wanted to try to replace the 3D models in the JRPG game series Trails in the Sky with higher poly models. It is an old 2.5D game with 3D maps and 2D character sprites. I have managed to reverse engineer (black box) the format and the next step is to try to modify the files and try them in the game.
However the pr…
Basically I just want to get my feet wet with compression algorithms.

Hi shall give this a go, got a small idea of something interesting (maybe) to build
Hello,
Hoping to create a strawpoll web app that allows for conditional polling and interaction from the poll host with those being polled.
The intended audience is community managers & streamers.
Will be starting this project from scratch today.
Hopefully a MVP will be complete before the year is out, lets see
App will consist of a r…

This is something I’ve been meaning to do for a while. My Smart home interface sucks.
The Smart home system I use has a terrible user interface. The time frames for graphs are locked, there’s no way to export data and you can’t turn on a light for a certain period of time, only at a preset time.
The goal is to create a better UI using the Energenie API and Unity. If that goes well a remote web portal using Linode will be attempted. …

Hi,
My first Devember project is a feature page for the Level One NFT in a horrendously overengineered way.
Morning all,
This is my first Devember and first personal coding project since I left university. I have been spurred into action by my recent purchase of the Level One NFT. I believe that for the common good there should be a showcase for the Level One NFT so people can come and admire it.
The long rambly bit about project plans
So that’s the M…

Hi!
My forum post is linked below. My submission is for a neat little web app that shows how a programming language is parsed from input → Lexer → AST → Parser.
This is a continuation of a longer-running project which is a bit outside the scope of Devember, but the web app is my submission.
My goal personally is to learn more about how programming languages work under the hood, so I can become a better programmer. My goal this Devember is to build a project to help share this knowledge.
Forum Post:
Hello L1T!
I have a project that I thought I might as well show off. It was started long before Devember so I won’t add it as a submission, but since we are all in the programming mood I thought I might join in on the fun.
Although I am not submitting my little script parser for Devember, I do intend to submit a little web app. This app will allo…

I will be developing a “game engine” for poker with the goal of learning Rust and serving as the first component of a bigger project.
Project Summary
PokerTrainer is a set of tools necessary to run an online poker server (including a front-end) so it can be used to train poker bots and also allow humans to improve their poker skills playing against bots.
This project will take a lot of work to be done as it involves many components. I am not a very experienced coder and have ne…

I’m a software dev by day and mostly work with back end stuff and things which means my GUI-fu is kinda limited. I want to make a little app that tracks, logs, and displays system info like temps, load, and which processes are eating the most CPU time. Will add github link soon.
Hi all
I want to make a little app that logs system info like temps, system load, and which processes uses the most CPU time to a DB.
I want to add an option to show these stats live in a graph much like the Performance Tab in Task manager.
I want to be able to see which processes use the most CPU time and also be able to see which processes cau…
EDIT: Can we have more than one Devember project? Second project is a remote control of sorts using HTML and ASPNET core to send keystrokes to your game. Much like Game Glass, but with no client app on you phone of tablet needed.
Can we have more than one Devember project? Let me know if not and I’ll update the thread.
My idea is to have a little HTML page running on your PC which can send keystrokes to your game… or any application that is currently focused for that matter. Some sort of MFD Thingy… but with HTML. In fact, I’m calling it MFD-Thingy.
The idea here is to a…

I missed the fact that we were supposed to reply to this thread with out Devember projects. I’m creating a caption manager application in C++ to tag image on the hard-disk with an extended description/caption and some additional info.
Greetings, I’m a first time Devemberer and generally clueless about developing a complete software project. My project is a caption manager for images, whereby a user can add an image and tag it with a caption (or longer description) for future reference.
Context
The idea for this project came from my mother. She wants something to help her keep …
The code for this project is in my Github repository: GitHub - inakleinbottle/caption_manager .
