So the title sums it up. What are your off the wall nutterbutter theories? I have a bunch trying to explain different things as possible scenarios via story form.
Here are some of my theories....
Made On Earth - It may be arrogant to think life spawned on Earth first or that all life in the universe originates from DNA found on Earth. However this theory sounded like a good scifi scenario that could be real, more real than saying divine beings of biblical proportions exist. They might, but in this theory like most alternative ones, it is plausible to assume we will spread life through out the universe including everything found on Earth. Viruses, Microbes, and more complex organisms from plants to animals. However the crazy bit about my theory/story is that the human origin and outcome is mysterious. Before mammals dominated the land, reptilian organisms evolved much along the lines as we did. Bipedal, upright, use of language + writing, science, etc. They even had terror groups much like our counterparts. Seeing an impending doom which would make life next to near impossible to inhabit, they send missions to Mars to create a safe haven of sorts from the incoming disaster. Others were sent to bases under the ground, water, and even traveled into the future, millions of years. They find life is flourishing and sent further people even further into the future. They find primates had began to evolve and further the progression with possible genetic manipulation. As I said terror groups exist in their society, which leads to conflict over what to do with the primates. A civil war breaks out which explains much of the stories pointed to by Ancient Astronaut enthusiasts. I mean about ancient areal battles and gods descending from the sky. Yes they would have descended from the sky as they would have aircraft as well as spacecraft. For the longest time many countless humans had been enslaved, which they perceived as being more efficient than working for themselves. These are factioned off terror groups, many of whom established religions and acted as gods. Many of their species opposed this act and the war was devastating. Throughout the millennia terror groups (the gods) had traveled from century to century evading the pursers (the non gods) leading to the modern day when the present will reveal both factions. Leading to global conflict that was depicted as the end times in the bible. Yes Jesus was a human either genetically engineered with insanely advanced technology and understanding of the universe or a normal joe that was very well educated by one of the two factions. The humans were so fucked up in their belief systems created and inspired by the terror groups, that the only way to educate the mass was claim Jesus was the human form of the only God and his will was to be absolute over that of man kind. Yes much interpretation of the teachings passed down have been terribly misused, but the underlying teaching is to respect life and what you have. Anyways in the present with the arrival of the new people, humans realize how wrong they were in the perspective of worship. Many cant consider the possibility that there is no actual god, but what we can and possibly will learn. This as I said creates numerous global conflicts and fuels a new space race. This is to preserve both species, humans and their past cousins (from over 65millions years ago). This is part one in its entirety for the most part. Part two explains how the people came into existence.
It follows the humans manipulating time in the present. Leading to a purposed colony to travel to our past as an observation. By this time quantum physics and string theory are accepted in everyday education (or something similar) which propose multiple world lines as the infamous mystery man John Titor claims. Thus leading to human realizing if they alter the past it wont necessarily destroy a world but add an additional one. In which case the colony is widely debated by both species in a place/time unaffected by the war. The war has been thought to be over for close to a century or two, where it is thought to be known that time travel is now a banned technology. The primary war that existed was fought between radicalism and global governments + the church/other religions and both species. This war is known as the time wars, because for approximately a century the rebel/terror groups had stopped running forwards into time. Atleast they didn't stop where humans existed on Earth as no element was ever discovered on the planet again. By this time the newly organized joint society sends "new" missions to mars for "re"settlement (what I mean by this is that the Mars settlements that once existed many millenia ago, even millions of years, was destroyed in the war as it operated as a safe haven aswell as a WMD manufacturing site. This WMD and populations center are the reasons it was targeted by the terror group (thought to be, might have been a malfunctioned WMD). This destruction lead to further colonization of places throughout space, but as over thousands of years, there has been little to no communication between our Solar System and their location in space. Back to the story (this is explained further with my Made on Mars Theory). Human in their considered present (ours between 2015 - beyond). Humans have began colonizing space as I mentioned and are doing so at a phenomenal rate. We are further endowed by time travel regardless of universal sanctions ascribed to by governments. Many supposedly secret organizations were messing with it in attempts to either settle in the future or past for various reasons. One group known as the former CERN from nearly 100 years earlier successfully sent a probe through time as far as it supposedly could (the end of the line). Where it miraculously was still broadcasting data up until the end. The data is binary and is eventually discovered by CERN in another present. This present is actually a near identical universe to that of our own which was created in the death of ours. This suggests each universe is just a black hole collecting and spewing out data which becomes life over and over again. The theory by the new CERN is that (when a binary coded signal is discovered being directed towards Earth. CERN realizes the importance of the finding and understand the message. It depicts the same DNA evolution that lead to Humanity aswell as that found in the reptilian species (at this time it is unknown that it is related to the species). Which leads to a slew of secrecy from the CERN organization. It isn't realized until the people from the past arrive, but the second DNA strand depicted in the binary message is that of the reptilian species. This revelation will eventually be outed nearly a century later when CERN plans to send a new message to the future. As well as sending a party back in time to observe early life on Earth, over 300 million years ago. Again the fear of the butterfly effect is at play, but the message CERN received said that multiple world lines (John Titor's phrase) exist and will always be created over and over. Which means if they do fuck up the past it wont destroy the one that they came from leaving everyone alive and kicking for all time. They spent the century studying this and experimenting and eventually came to the conclusion that they were going to disobey the universal law against any further time travel practices. In which case the colony in our past is shocked to find there is no life at all once they arrived, approximately 300-400 million years ago. They realized that life might not actually have existed prior to humanity existing in the future. They are able to communicate to the present with text messages and a microwave, yes Steins:Gate has perfectly predicted the future (kind of a joke). What ever way they were able to communicate they continuously did so to the present. Relaying that life was absent from Earth and the Earth is actually next to near uninhabitable due to the gases that comprised the atmosphere being completely toxic. It was then ordered by the present to further the observation of the early Earth. At this time the Earth was pretty much one continent so travel was easier than traversing the oceans. They went to various regions observing no thriving life. They eventually find signs of life that one existed, fossils of microbes and plant like organisms. After years of observatio9, it is ordered to began the mass production of organisms in the form of microbes and plants. Some colonists stay for the longterm while others traveled periodically down the time line. This process is continued for millions of years. Yes this process is tedious, but life did begin evolving once again and was thriving much more so than how it did in the past, before the human arrival. The colonists confined themselves to enclosed campuses which were entirely closed off from the surrounding world. Over millions of years (for some much much less; the non time traveling colonists). It is rumored that over that time humans had began to colonize space to ensure life's survival, but no official sources can be cited (in the present that is). The colonists on Earth in our past had began traveling so far into the future that they found themselves in the time of the reptiles. According to the history of the reptilian people, they evolved and began recording their history long ago. I dont know the time it took or when it began, but this is actually a guarded secret. The colonists in the past know though and realized that life is a paradox in its entirety. For humans to exist, the reptiles have to exist and for them to exist humans must exist. We also had to allow for our mysterious past be left to the reptilian species. They engineered us and we them. It is unknown if any humans acted as gods for the reptilians as they did us, but it is known that they follow science and had followed similar religions to that of our own past. So it is not unrealistic to assume the colonists of our past were infact the origin religion because technology is considered magic by societies that dont understand it. It is easier to teach at the level of society, if everyone is for a religion you might as well let them believe it until it's discovered for themselves.
This theory is so long that I haven't even covered things like the the supposed city of Atlantis. But my theoy is accepting of alternatives and adaptations.......Unlike most traditional religions. Yes I am infact starting a new religion which uses the knowledge of science(technology; instead of superstition) to essentially create a new bible in the form of short scifi stories. These are meant to be indepth suggestions of our origin(s) and where we are going. That is all. I wish this to be a community ran collaboration which could possibly in the future be adopted to script if the stories are sound. I know its out there, but its even more out there to believe that the Bible is actually gods word but that of man. Anyways man more than likely came up with the bible on its own. But possibly not and it definitely isnt a magical being but technologically superior to our understanding. Man am I tired after dreaming this story up. This has actually been at the back of my mind for a few years, I have even posted this story around the web numerous times.
