Hello - I had three files in a directory that were size 0, no permissions and when I used "file" it returned "empty."

I did not create these files... any suggestions?

All the files began with "sed." Not sure if related or not, but they are in a directory that houses the results of some scripts which lean heavily on sed.

... wondering if sed creates temporary files as buffers?
