OC'ing seems to be going too easily for me

Hi,

As you can see on my profile, I have an Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 with an AMD FX-6100. Since I wasn't entirely happy with my speed, I decided to do some overclocking. I got some tips from ex-classmates to start by increasing the CPU multiplier, so I increased it in little steps from 16.5 (which is stock) and I stopped at 22.5.

My CPU is now running 6 cores at 4.51 GHz and not even touching 70°C when running prime95 overnight (with stock voltages and no errors whatsoever). Because I got it so easily to such a boost, I'm starting to think I may be missing something or doing something wrong.

Then, I did some research and found this comment:

Wish you luck, FX-6100 is by far the hardest CPU to oc that I've ever owned.

Now I have to say I use a closed-loop watercooling solution, which may explain some of the ease, but I still think I am missing something.

Any thoughts, anyone?

No CPU overclocks the same as another. I have a 4770k and I can push it to around 4.7. There are other people who cannot overclock past 4.1 with a better motherboard and cooler.

The better your motherboard the easier it is to overclock.  Since you have a top of the line motherboard it makes it really easy.

So you're saying it's not weird that I'm able to push it over a GHz without any headaches...? Wow, cool!

Is there anything else that I might wanna change in order to improve the performance or stability? I'm still learning about OC'ing and there are so many options that there're bound to be a few that people are gonna frown upon if they see I haven't changed them...right?
