Hey guys if I could get some help with overclocking this cpu and mobo that would be awesome.
So far I can get to 40.ghz with changing the multiplier and bus. Multiplier being 19.0 and Bus being 210. I crash in games to desktop, and audio starts flipping out. Any ideas?

The 965 mostly tops out at 4GHz , though if you are lucky, you may get a chip that will clock to 4.2 GHz.
Other than that, at around 4GHz, you are looking at around 1.5-1.52V going to the CPU, and to get around 4.1-4.2GHz, you are looking at around 1.56 to close to 1.6V, which means that even liquid cooling systems will have a little trouble.
I Remember hearing from a friend with a Phenom that OC'ing the NB really helped with overall system performance. Might look into that too.
Overclocking the north bridge clock largely impacts the memory read, write, and latency. e.g., going from 2GHz, to 2.6GHz, can add an extra 5+ or so GB/s
It also offers small performance improvements in many non memory bound areas, but the largest improvement is the RAM where performance improvements are seen at all memory speeds.
On my PC, by overclocking the RAM slightly, and overclocking the north bridge to 2.6GHz, I went from about 15GB/s on my phenom II, to about 22GB/s. (Phenom II x6 1075t 3.9GHz 2.6GHz NB)
