OC phenom 1045t on Asus M5A990x Evo

Hello forum people. I just upgraded my motherboard, and am waiting to upgrade my cpu to a 8350, but until then id like to see how far i can push my old 1045t. I have absolutely no experience with the new uefi bios, and dont really know where to start. Im hoping to get a around 3.4 - 3.5 ghz from the stock 2.7 (on my old mobo i got to around 3.35 stable). any help would be greatly appreciated! oh yea and my idle temps are around 29, and full load around 37 at stock speeds, so pretty decent airflow

That motherboard will take that CPU to it's full potential. Just keep upping the clockspeed and voltage until you are nearing dangerous temps or can't stay stable under prime95.

alright i did that, was able to get to around 3.5ghz stable with 3 hours prime95, and heat staying under 64 C. now my next question is, is this bottle necking 2 hd 7850s 2gb versions? i get around 39 frames per second average in metro LL, but the master gpu never loads over 60% (second gpu at 99%)

I don't know about your phenom, but I have the same motherboard and pushed my FX-8350 to 5Ghz on it.
