Oc Capability and cooling

Was wondering about which card i should go with based on cooling, noise and stable oc capability

from sapphire http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202003

The asus is quieter, as for performance.. that will vary by card.

here is a review that did sound testing on the vapor x cooler and compares it to the asus card at the end. The cards are different, but the coolers are the same.

I think they are both good cards, but if it was my money, I would definitely go for the asus.I have heard nothing but good things about them and they are quieter. I would sacrifice a little performance for quietness, but I think you don't sacrifice anything with the asus coolers.

I'd say they are both great with cooling and OC capability, but one thing to note though, if you are looking to add a full cover waterblock for liquid cooling, I'd go the ASUS. The Sapphire card is one of their Blue PCBs, which they add a couple of extra capacitors to and unfortunately they get in the way of full cover waterblocks.

But if liquid cooling is not something you'll be looking into in the future for your GPU, either option is great!

I'd personally choose the Sapphire over the ASUS though, just for the size difference, having a 3 space card seems a little excessive at this point, I guess until AMD releases their new HD 9XXX series of GPUs at the end of the month.
