O2 Headphone Amplifier First Impressions

I got home at 4:00 p.m. and saw a small box with "Mayflower Electronics" written on it.   Oooooohhhhhh dang.  I was so excited.  However, when I first got it all set up and opened up Foobar2000, it all sounded very bland.  I then realized my V style EQ was not activated.  Instantly, I heard a difference (This is all coming from crappy on-board audio from a 50 dollar motherboard) Wow, the bass felt tighter, the treble felt more "Sparkly".  I didn't expect the amp only version would make much of a difference in the sound quality.  I was wrong...  The vocals are so clear!  I heard background instruments I never heard before.  I also happened to get the maple limited edition as my headphones are ebony wood and I have lots of wooden accents in my room.  The color is that of my guitar.  Anyways...  The unit is very small and light.  But doesn't feel cheap.  I also tried it on my Galaxy S4.  Wow, I can actually hear the music now!  This thing will get your music loud enough to do physical harm to your ears...     Haha.  I don't want to bore you much more.

I would also like to note, I was using the "Meze 88 Classic" headphones.  They have a very flat response curve.  (Also why I use a V style EQ)  I listened to Country, Classic Rock, Hard Rock, and Zweihander. :)

Keep in mind, this is only the first hour of listening.

I love this product and will recommend it above anything else I've used.  :)

Dose the Galaxy S4 even have a line out, or are you just stacking the O2 amp ontop of the Galaxy S4 internal headphone amp?
