I am going to build a new Gaming PC and I can't decide which out of these three cases to choose I am mainly looking at the 530 and 630 but the 820 is really nice.
Some things I need to mention is that I am going to be using the Kraken X61 and the Kraken G10 w/ Kraken X41
So I want the case to be cool and have positive air pressure I have figured that it is possible with these cases but I just can't decide.
They all support the radiators your mentioned. My personal choice would be the 630 for a very trivial reason: it has two SSD trays on the back of the motherboard, as opposed to one on the 530 and none on the 820.
Pick whatever you think looks best.
As a side note, the Source 530 is exactly the same case as the Phantom 530, but with a plain exterior and without the fan controller (you can get a NZXT Sentry Mesh).
Hey thanks for the reply I think I am going to go with the 630 but I can't decide whether to get the windowed version or the version with the small window and the 200mm fan what do you think?? I really like the windowed version as you could see the GPU as well as the CPU but the 200mm fan is awesome for airflow.
I personally have the matte black Phantom 630, have had it for just over a year now and love it! If you look at my build in my profile you'll see it is crazy the amount of fan mounting options this thing has. Also, I have the side panel with the small window and 200mm fan. It might not look as nice as a full side window but the side tan really helps temps with a warm single card or crossfire/sli setup.
Cable management is a breeze, tons of room behind the back panel. One gripe are the flimsy hard drive sleds, I understand this was rectified in later revisions though? (mine is early/first). Also, the Phantoms have fantastic dust filtering. My system is spotless inside, never any dust in my video cards or CPU heat sink. The dust filters need a good cleaning every 2 weeks or so and every month I use isopropyl alcohol and scrub the filters really well to get the grimy buildup.
The 820 is almost identical to the 630, just a few bonus features. I went for the 630 because it was a better price and still maintained the features that I needed.
