In my upcoming build, I plan on using the NZXT Phantom 410 and the Asus Maximus V Formula. My concern is that the Maximus is an E-ATX form factor board and is 13mm wider than standard ATX. Would the board fit nicely into the Phantom without any obstruction because it's an ATX case. I don't mind if it covers some of the cable holes.
I have a Maximmus V Formula in my Fractal Design XL. I don't know about the NZXT Phantom 410, but most likely, you will need a full tower case. I highly recommend Fractal Design.
Yeah, the Fractal is a great looking case. But it's a little outside my budget. The 410 is $70AUD cheaper from where I'm buying.
Well you can always make a few minor modifications if the board doesn't fit... If you're handy with tools, anyway.
I have some handy power tools in my garage. I will attempted it IF it doesn't go to plan :)
Modifying your case is rewarding in a way. Plus you get to brag and tell everyone about everyhing you fixed.
