you wake up the system, but it crashes and after the reset the bios cannot see the nvme. The only way to see it again is to shutdown the system and totally cut off electrical power.
sometimes the system successfully wakes up and then after few secs it crashes.
i tried everything you can imagine…
last thing to try
different PSU
different nvme (at moment CRUCIAL P5 1tb)
different motherboard (at moment ASUS ROG B550i GAMING)
Have you tried disabling ASPM in the BIOS?
I’ve experienced similar behaviour with an ASUS B550-F GAMING WIFI II board, and it appears to be resolved by disabling ASPM in the BIOS (still testing before I can say with 100% certainty, since it is so random, except for when I had a WD SN850X SSD which would disappear very regularly).
When it happens to me, even warm restarts by pressing the reset button wouldn’t bring the NVMe back. Powering off and back on was the only way to get the system to boot. I didn’t need to power off fully from AC power though, just ATX soft off/on (which does trigger the PSU relay to click though).
my bad, i’ve missed the latest bios update. It seems to work now…
let’s see how much it will last lol.
the ASPM is disabled.
a minor problem (apparently affecting randomly almost every rog motherboard) the power Led always stays on, no matter the selected option in the AURA menu…bah
