Nvm-e ssd not detected on Zenith Extreme

Hello everyone
I finally recieved the last piece of hardware for my new pc, a samsung 970 pro 512 gb ssd.
I installed it on the dimm.2 card, and slotted it in my motherboard.
But it doesnt show up in bios, or when i try to install Antergos. (Or in disks on the usb installer)
Have I missed something? Or are the 970 pro simply so new that its the reason the mobo can’t even detect it?

Edit: It works just fine with a sata ssd.

What model of motherboard for what processor?

Sorry, hardware is as follows:
AMD 1900x (TR4)
Asus zenith extreme (X399)
32 gb ram @ 3200 mhz cl14 from qvl
AMD RX Vega 56
Aquantia 10 Gbe ethernet card
A Sandisk 120 gb sata ssd for testing porpuses.
Everything works, when I’m using the sandisk ssd. But I cant detect the 970 pro no matter what i try :frowning:

Check to see if there is an option to change it to NVME mode in BIOS, I am currently reading the manual.

Also try doing a BIOS update to see if that helps.

I’m happy to say it works now.
I pulled it out, and mounted the ssd on the other side of the dimm.2 card. And then it was detected.
I then remounted it on the first side of the dimm.2 card again. And it’s still detected
So it needed a reseat on either the ssd or the dimm.2 card.
A noob mistake on my part, I should have tried that before I even thought of posting it here.
But thanks for the help
