Nvidia GeForce Driver 344.65 Installation Failed

I've recently try'ed to update my Geforce GTX 760 Asus Direct CU II edition to the latest drivers, 344.65. I use "custom installation", and then press "install driver". After this, its tries to install the driver but after 30 seconds, it gives me an error message that says "Installation cannot continue", and gives me the option to try again. I try again numerous times but it still gives me the same error message. I eventually close out of Geforce Experience. I then open Asus GPU Tweak where it tell me that the GPU usage is a 0% - 2% at idle. Also it says that the graphics card is not computing PhysX. This also happened with the previous newest driver from Nvidia when I tried to install it. In Nvidia Geforce Experience it does not register my GTX 760. The card obviously is still functioning because, it is being picked up by Asus GPU Tweak and I am still using it to run my monitor via HDMI. When I try to play games it is extremely choppy including audio. Please help.

System Specs:

GeForce GTX 760 Asus Direct CU II

Gigabyte G1.Sniper M5 z87
Kingston 60GB SSD
WD RED 1TB hard drive
Asus 1080p 60hz monitor

I've had a few sound issues since updating my gigabyte GTX 760 OC edition (it's odd since my M/B has the creative labs chipset on it for sound). it's only since going to 344.65.

Come to think of it the monitor has had a red balance issue also, looks slightly red no matter how you adjust it. I tried it with another computer with an AMD GPU (R9 290X) and it was all good.
