Just a heads up for anyone out there who has an HDR monitor. If you update your 900 series card, you will get flashing back and forth from HDR color and washed-out color when playing back video. I don’t know if this has translated into games, but it was really bad and super annoying.
Simple fix, I rolled back to the earlier driver. I made sure when I did the install I erased everything first, then selected “custom” in the install wizzard thingee, and I left everything checked except GForce Experience.
Aside from restarting my pc 30 times uninstalling all the nvidia stuff from the apps menu in settings, it was painless and fixed it.
Once again, Nvidia, you tried to brick my shit. May you rot in fucking hell forever.
