i rolled my drivers back but its still doing it
I have never seen something like that being driver related.
Its usually heat or age related.
4 month old watercooled asus gtx 1080
For what it's worth I'm running a GTX-980 and it started doing this today out of nowhere also.
Haven't found a solution, yet.
I've heard it is Nvidia driver related, even tho you rolled back..
If you are using chrome you need to turn off hardware acceleration (this fixed it for many people)
Same thing started the last couple days for me as well. GTX 980 ti.
hmmmm
it SEEMS TO BE WORKING
Glad to help, i had the same issue btw..
Don't know when there will be a new driver.
Because i rather have hardware acceleration on tbh :)
Stop feeding your card LSD
New hotfix drivers version 375.76 from Nov 11 seemed to fixed the issue
So you can turn on hardware acceleration again! :D
Have a 980ti classified same issue thought I was going crazy
ive been living life pretty ok on chrome with it off
so im lazy ill just leave it off
Its best to turn it back on tho, less stress on the cpu (no that big)
I can give you a lazy link to turn it on again :p
eh ?
ive got about 25 ish tabs open on imgur and stuff skype steam blah blah im idling cpu at like 6-9%
Well it's your choice lol, but it does impact it a tiny bit.
Its more of a big deal when your watching youtube :P I've noticed the same thing on my 980Ti, thought it was just age related bugs coming on. Good to see its drivers and can be corrected as it undoubtedly will be, eventually.
youtube 1080p i see 15% ish
and just as i was b4 with skype and uhh imgur and this forum in tabbs i see like 7-10% with it back enabled
Same problem here (WC 1080 SLI). It's definitely driver related. Only happens to me with YouTube videos and since Chrome and nvidia drivers have had issues in the past I am just waiting for an update.
