I've been looking forward to testing this for some time

does this means that those cards were running in "SLIFireX"? the bottom and top charts confuse me.

To my understanding it runs like sli but it's not in sli/cf. It appears AMD has the edge so far.

simple get shitty nvidia gpu for locked out features and get high end amd gpu.

You need to use one card as main card. If you use the AMD card as main card you have big improvement. If you use Nvidia - you get sh*t...
They have tested this with Fury X and 980Ti... Same thing... FuryX main - better framerate than 980Ti main gpu...
WHY? Because Nvidia SUX at DX12...

benchmark is rigged anyway. Take a look at fps on 290x vs 980ti

So what happened after those really early benchmarks where a 390 got nearly double the performance or whatever compared to DX11?

nothing, as far as i know nothing changed. NV made some improvement (hacks) but they didn't do much.

people who has done the nv + amd benchmark received a newer version of benchmark than the rest of people.

basically what i want is public stand-alone benchmark where people of different hardware can post their results.
Only those benchmarks are 100% truthful.

well, i really wait for the games to start show up and finally this speculation to be over... I can hate the greens all night long (it's night here now), but if the test is inaccurate, then... I will have no argument... So...

as far as i´m concerned if i look at the single card scores, the 980Ti still edges out the FuryX,
so i dont realy see anything special uphere.

But yeah we could take these numbers with a big grain of salt.

in other words those numbers are bs... Fury X needs to have much more power.

I look forward to more information on this and it's adoption into actual usable scenarios like games.

I think Logan should do a similar benchmark with an AMD CPU instead of an Intel one. I really like to see the results compared to this test.

I think this game is also coming to Linux and Vulkan, when that happens I will take more notice of these benchmarks.

well the offcial benchmark charts from pcper allready did contain cpu benchmarks aswell.
And ofc we should take the benchmarks numbers with some grain of salt.
But in those benchmarks from Ashes DX12 with GTX980 and a test with a 390X, a Core i3 was still beating a FX8370 in both tests.

You seem to misunderstand what I'm suggesting.

I've already read that benchmark review... They did not use the AMD CPU in combination with the NVIDIA and AMD cards together in one machine as in a dual GPU system running both AMD and NVIDIA, not just one card or the other. And the review here only tests with an Intel CPU and not an AMD in sight.

I have a Titan x and Titan to test. I'll see if I can pick up an AMD gpu from a friend for testing.

Even if you only gain 65% from Nvidia in most cases, that's still pretty good. Also don't forget about physx
