Nvidia 326.19 (Beta) Driver Issue

Hey everyone, just installed the new 326.19 Beta drivers from Nvidia on my GTX 770 and now the GPU wont clock past 400mhz,  even in games. I tried reinstalling the drivers with a clean installation this time around and still nothing. I've tried running arkham city and borderlands 2 and both have sluggish perfomance which is not normally the case at all ( I was playing these games earlier before installing the lastest drivers and everything was fine ). I have also tried tweaking some settings in the Nvidia control panel, the most obvious being "prefer maximum performance mode" but that has not changed anything the GPU still wont clock up to its full speed. Does anyone have any advice to rectify this, or should I just roll back the drivers?

System:

i5 3570k @ 4.8ghz

P8Z77-LX motherboard (BIOS 1902)

16gb 1600mhz RAM

KFA2 GTX 770 superclocked

326.19 Beta Drivers

Windows 8 64 bit

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

roll back, ive heard nothing but horror stories with all the 32x drivers so far, i have nvidia in both my PC's because i "used" to think nvidia had the better driver support, over the last few months that has entirely changed, so ill be trying out AMD cards next upgrades :D

Nvidia's official download page says the 700 series and the 770 is supported, this PDF would say otherwise?
