Numlock when starting Xubuntu

I heavily use the Numpad to enter numbers, this includes my login password.
Sadly, when I start my computer I always have to hit the numlock key to be able to enter numbers. When using Suspend to RAM and wake up my computer, my numlock led is still on, but I can’t enter numbers. If I press Numlock, the LED stays on and I CAN enter numbers. It’s ‘fake-on’.

It really annoys me to press Numlock all the time. How can I configure Ubuntu that Numlock is activated from the start and stays activated when using power saving features?

A quick search for “ubuntu numlock at boot” gave me this. See if it solves your issue.
