My dad wants to buy a decent but not that pricey notebook that can be use for Adobe premiere and other editing software and also some light gaming medium settings in 720p,doesn't matter,work is priority,budget is $850.

Bit above your price. Has an i5 (for the price its the best you can get), and a 650M Nvidia card. This will not crush much, but for a notebook and that price... best I can do.
