My friends and i enjoy PC gaming a lot, and we just finished playing through some games and we're not sure what to play next. We would like something that takes a long time to complete and has a lot of content, and variety. Any suggestions? (Of course, should be co-op)
Borderlands perhaps?
saints row series
Borderlands 2 will take you about 100 years to complete even without all the DLC and co-op is mad fun.
Divinity: Original Sin
Portal 2 is good fun in co op, and can last a while with the community test chambers and what not.
Diablo 3 has a co op mode, but I haven't played it so ymmv.
Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 are good fun, and the multiplayer modes basically feel like an expanded co op mode.
Both Trine games have 3 player co op.
There's a mod for HL2 that allows for co op, I can't remember the name of it off the top of my head though. Just google it.
Spelunky has co op.
So does ME3 (though, it's more just challenge maps rather than the single player story).
That's what I got off the top of my head. There's tons more out there. There's also plenty of MMO style games like Eve that you can play together as well, or just standard multiplayer games as well like Counter Strike or Chivalry.
Castle Crashers, most racing games, Battleblock, Starbound, maybe Path of exile, L4D2, Portal, most of these can be played with friends well all of them :).
just cause 2 multi-player mod is always fun, WarFrame is a good up and coming fps, saurbratten is a fun game to mess around with friends, lastly spintires for a coop game, and track mania has tons of maps and loads of fun to challeng your friends times. most of these have no story line to speak of, but they are great fun.
I just finished Bioshock Infinite. It only took me two days to beat, and I didn't find it as fun as the first two games, but the ending was crazy.
