Now... Here is my question.
Can I enable quicksync on a CPU even if the Motherboard doesn't have on-board graphics capability?
Cpu - i5 2500
Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3R-B3 (firmware version F9)

Yes. The i5-2500 has quick sync and a built in GPU. It will work.
I know this, It should work. But I can't seem to install the graphics driver for the Intel HD2000 graphics nor is it in the device manager :/
Really? Under Display Adapters it should say Intel HD Graphics Family.
Maybe you can't see it because you are using a dedicated card, but you should still be able to take advantage of the technology.
Just re-checked my bios. Nothing about iGPU or anything. Nothing in the device manager.
I'm sure it shouldn't matter if there isn't any on-board graphics ports. I should just be able to install the driver and away I go. But the driver wont even install saying that "my computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements"
