Yeah and I'm not sure if those msi ones are two sided. Most higher end M.2's have all the flash chips on the top of the pcb, but some do have nand chips on both sides and those also tend to run warmer.
Nah, one side only, almost like it's only for protecting the m.2.
Nah they're actually trying to keep the ssd's warm because they know they don't like being cold. Gotta put that metal shroud on them to insulate they're little nand chips.
