Hey. As you can see from the title, I don't have sound on my computer AT ALL.
Windows can't recognize ANY sound device, hell, it can't even recognize Realtek drivers.
They are listed on Programs and Features, but they are nowhere else. They don't run, they don't appear in Control Panel, They do nothing. I have the correct and Latest version of the drivers. I tried the drivers from Motherboard's site, no use. The Problem Still occurs.
I am using Windows 8 Pro x64 OS, and a AsRock Extreme4 970 Motherboard.
Yes, i have tried to uninstall, and re-install the drivers. I've tried changing Onboard audio and Front panel settings in BIOS, Example i tried to change onboard HD audio from Auto to Enabled. Doesn't work still. Of Course.
Right now i am suspecting 3 things: 1: There are 3 drivers trying to start: Realtek's drivers, Windows' shitty HDMI Default driver and NVIDIA HDMI Default driver. 2: My onboard integrated audio is broken (Realtek ALC892 Audio Codec). 3: I just can't figure out the simple solution and the fault is just on some drivers anyway. -.-
I've tried to uninstall the Windows drivers, I Don't know what to do with the Realtek Drivers anymore, because nothing helps, and i now see 4 NVIDIA HDMI Output ports in Sound options.
I am really confused from all of this, and i just can't figure out what the hell is the problem, i've tried every possible solutions from google and nothing helps. And the thing that pisses me off the most, is that i JUST ordered my new PC Parts (New GPU, CPU Fan and New PSU), and when i'm gonna play Crysis 2 on max, this problem comes in.
PC Specs:
AMD FX-6200 6-core CPU, AsRock Extreme4 970 Motherboard, PNY NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 Graphics Card, 8 GB G.Skill Sniper 1600 MHz RAM and 750W CoolerMaster GX Bronze Power Supply.
