No signal on monitor

I just built a PC and when I turn it on I get no signal from my graphics card no matter what cable I tried. I know its not the monitor because I tested it with hdmi to my laptop. The graphics card fans are spinning and everything else turns on but I get "no signal" on my monitor

cpu- amd fx 8350

psu- Corsair hx850

graphics card- EVGA superclocked 4GB GeForce GTX 770

mobo- Gigabyte 970A-D3P

CPU 4 pin power connector plugged in?

Its an 8 pin and yes it is

Are the fans turning or is it dead?

Fans are turning and the water cooler is running

Cooler master seidon 120m

Yeah

Yes and its an 8 pin

The gpu might be dead, but the power might still be running though it. This is really something you should contact EVGA about, also it could be your HDMI cable, have you tried a new cable.

Yes, Ive tried DVI, Displayport, and HMDI. Im trying to use Displayport

And I dont think its dead because I just built this yesterday

I mean a manufacturing problem, have you heard of a DOA? Anyway, do you have any other cards laying around? Then you could be sure it the the Video Card.

No I don't

What monitor is it? Testing it with a laptop doesn't eliminate the fact it could be the display.

I've previously tested troublesome monitor with both a desktop and a laptop. I found that the desktop did not display until I had installed the drivers and utilities found on a disk that came with the display.

Unfortunately I dont

GPUs can arrive dead and nonoperative, all you have to do is mail back the part and they will replace it. Still contact the provider.

has something similar with mine, just left it for 5 mins and it gives a screen image after 30 secs or so :)

I contacted EVGA and they said I need to update my Motherboard BIOS but I dont have integrated graphics so I have no way to update it. Is there any way I can update it without a graphics card or onboard graphics

What graphics card do you have and motherboard?

This may be trivial, but have you tried re-seating the ram?

Yeah I have
