I just built a PC and when I turn it on I get no signal from my graphics card no matter what cable I tried. I know its not the monitor because I tested it with hdmi to my laptop. The graphics card fans are spinning and everything else turns on but I get "no signal" on my monitor
The gpu might be dead, but the power might still be running though it. This is really something you should contact EVGA about, also it could be your HDMI cable, have you tried a new cable.
I mean a manufacturing problem, have you heard of a DOA? Anyway, do you have any other cards laying around? Then you could be sure it the the Video Card.
What monitor is it? Testing it with a laptop doesn't eliminate the fact it could be the display.
I've previously tested troublesome monitor with both a desktop and a laptop. I found that the desktop did not display until I had installed the drivers and utilities found on a disk that came with the display.
I contacted EVGA and they said I need to update my Motherboard BIOS but I dont have integrated graphics so I have no way to update it. Is there any way I can update it without a graphics card or onboard graphics
