Hi, I built a pc for a friend of mine’s son, and now no matter what keyboard is plugged in doesn’t work, not even my ps/2 dell keyboard.
Anyone have anyway of fixing this without having to reinstall windows 7?

Have you tried checking if other devices are recognized? USB flash drives, Phones etc.
yes everything else works
That is very odd.
Is it in any way possible you can make keyboards not work by setting the system language for keyboards wrong?
I found a solution which was a registry edit
