So I jsut built a system for my brother and we can not get it hooked up to the internet. The problem is that I can't get the mac or physical adress to connect to the internet and the network card is supposedly visible but I can't find it/activate it. Any help would be great, don't be afriad to ask questions. Thanks. Btw we are using a Asus motherboard. The M5A97 R2.0 (AMD)
open cmd
type ipconfig /all
right click and pick "mark"
highlight everything
press enter (to save it to clipboard), then ctrl+v it here. when i get home later, ill look at it and tell you what you need to do.
You installed the ethernet drivers right?

Well I ended up getting it, after a few installs of the drivers. Windows didn't seems to like them the first time around though which ended up throwing me off. Thanks anyways guys.
