No auto fan control with AMD-GPU-Pro linux drivers?

I am currently running Ubuntu-Mate 16.10 with an R9 Fury on AMD-GPU-Pro drivers.

It does not seem that there is any sort of automatic fan control build into the driver. Typically the fans run at about 15%, even under load. Eventually what ever I am playing will start to have stuttering issues or crash due to heat.

There is a handy shell script that I use to manually set the fan speeds, but I would prefer to have some sort of automatic fan control, as it's nice to only have a loud GPU when you are using it for something intensive.

Anyone have any ideas on how to set up automatic fan control with the AMD-GPU-Pro drivers?

Might have to look into 3rd party options to assign fan curves or code a gui yourself! Msi afterburner etc all dont have Linux options, so you have no real options with offical products
