Nice looking case under 70 bucks?

Can you guys recommend a nice looking case under  70 bucks. I know looks are a subjective but I like something clean and simple maybe with lights but i wouldnt expect something under 70 bucks to come with lights

There are some nice cases under 70. Corsair Graphite or Antec 300 are two that come to mind

The Antec One is nice and simple. All black interior. No window if that's a deal beaker or not for you. I built a couple systems with it and enjoyed working with it.Lots of space and the back panel is bent out in the design, makes it easy to hid lots of cables back there.

lol forgot to add i need an atx case but thanks anyways I think I'm gonna go with the comrade thank you man

My recommendation...

No problem

I built my sons pc in the Corsair 200R... its clean, spacious and a great value.  Check it out here with photos and build description:

I surprised no one mentioned the Nzxt source 210 elite: http://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/117-source-210-elite-case.html

for that price range you could also get the H230: http://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/130-H230.html

if you wanted Lights the Corsair Graphite 230t is a good option and it comes in multiple colors if you can find them (easy to build in also): http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-case-cc9011036ww

I also like the Thermaltake Chaser A31 in a weird Tron-ish way:http://www.thermaltake.com/products-model.aspx?id=C_00001951

Why does no one ever recommend apevia cases?

I have used them, I personally like the Xdreamer4

This Enermax ivektor case looks very nice to me, for its price point. if im right you can get this in red white and black.

i honnestly like it, especialy the white version with rubber. you can even put a radiator in top

Don't buy the Carbide 200R or the Graphite 230T. There have been reports of drives overheating because of the full PLASTIC (yes, plastic) hard drive cage. If you use more than two HDDs they will overheat. And the pins that they use to stabilize the hard drive have plastic hinges, which snap easily. No sense in buying these defective cases when you have other options. It's beyond me how Corsair can get away with this kind of defective products. Must be because of all the marketing and the fanboys recommending their crap.

If you want a case for an ATX board, then I recommend the Fractal Design Core 3000 USB 3.0.

If you have an mATX board, then the Coolermaster N200 is awesome. Or the Silencio 352, which is based on the N200.

I had not heard about the overheating drive bays in the 200R and 230T, my buddy did a build in it but he isn't doing a multi-drive setup. Do you have an article that you could point me towards about the topic?

Rosewill Blackhawk is IMO the best option for budget case.  Nothing in that price range compares to the airflow, functionality and built quality.

Can't seem to find any links to the forum posts that I was mentioning (weird). I distincly remembering reading about a guy who had one of its hard drive die within a week or two of using the R200 because of the heat. This might be an extreme case, but before the drive dies the guy measured the temperature and it was high, in the 40s or more (from what I remember).

The explanation behind the drives overheating is the fact that the drive cage is made from plastic, which doesn't conduct heat, and there's no fan blowing on the drives to move the hot air. The hard drive cage basically traps all the hot air from the drives, becoming an oven.

You could get a thermal probe and check the temperature of the drives.

This anandtech review also mentions the heat issues:

http://www.anandtech.com/show/6515/corsair-carbide-200r-case-review-how-low-can-you-go/5

They are talking about an SSD (a single SSD, not two or more drives) reaching temperatures of 40 degrees inside the hard drive cage (not on the back of the motherboard). Image a hard drive, with moving parts.

Ah thank you for clarifying, I think that could be solved with more ventilation, I wouldn't worry about it in the 230t because that comes standard with 2 fans in the front so the Hard drives get plenty airflow, but thank you for raising concern over the drive cages.

Nice looking build.  BTW one of the pic of the monitor was taken at 420 lol.  I had to point it out.
