I currently have an iPhone 4 and I'm looking to upgrade. My provider is AT&T and I have an upgrade so the Moto X would be very cheap (I think $1 but I'm not 100% sure). Anyways I really really like the Google nexus 5 but AT&T doesn't sell it with an upgrade so I have to spend $350 on it. I don't play games on my phone so I don't care about speed or anything. I just want a phone I can surf the internet, Reddit, and do a few other things on. I would like all of your input and maybe some other phone suggestions. Moto G sounds a bit more up your ally. Personally, I'd get the Moto G off-contract and see what the pre-paid market is like; it's only $180 off contract.
However, if you're actually happy with AT&T, then the Moto X. It doesn't make a whole of sense to go out of your way to buy a phone off-contract, and then stick with an expensive contract to subsidize a phone you already paid full price for.
