would you call a console wich sometimes plays games in 1080p and that can sometimes even play them at 60fps next gen, while pc could do that since 2008ish?? (and earlier if you had all the $$$)
so why do they still call all the ps4 and xbone crap next-gen if it is out for more then half a year already.
at release the consoles were only outperformed by PCs now they start to become outperformed AND outdated.
we already have 3d TVs but still no 3d consoles, nvidia has had 3d for a long time now.
4k resolution is coming, again, something the consoles cant do, PCs dont have a problem supporting it, and the performance is also coming slowly.
the consoles completely miss out on the stuff that is actually next gen.
there is only one thing that keeps consoles in the market, one little stupid thing, making these software locked, low end pc's worth buying for some gamers:
exclusive titles.
and exclusive titles ony exist for one reason, wich is to keep the consoles alive.
"from software makes a new game, awsome!! i loved Dark Souls, finally i get something new made by them." not. of course its ps4 exclusive, i have to buy a 400$ console to be able to get that 60$ game.
i have a 2000$ gaming pc, it can run all games at 1080 with 60+ fps (112fps on battlefield 4 max graphics) now there is some awsome game i cant play on it, and the only reason that is so, is bacause someone decided he has to keep a console alive that should not exist in the first place.
now that is something truly....bs. i should have invested in "next-gen" hardware instead.
