Instead of using your cases power button stick a key or other metal object between the power button leads on your mobo to complete the circuit. In theory your PC should turn on
Test your power supply with a paper clip The AnswerPlug the power supply into the wall.Find the big 24-ish pin connector that connects to the motherboard.Connect the GREEN wire with the adjacent BLACK wire. The power supply's fan should start up. If it doesn't then it's dead.If the fan starts up, then it could be the motherboard that's dead.
one stick of ram in the correct single channel slot (maybe test these in another machine to make sure they arent DOA)
no gpu, ssd, hdd connected
run display off the onboard gpu
turn on via shorting out the PWR front panel pins
if boots = success then add components one at a time to see which one stops it from booting
if boot = fail then remove cpu and check the pins - If cpu pins are ok then chances are its a dead motherboard. - if you've damaged some then its going to be a bad day - either grab a very small tool and bend them back, get a mate to do it or save up for a new board as you'd be very lucky to find someone in a RMA department to cover user faults.
