Newegg as it relates to Asrock N100DC

Hello everyone,

I saw W’s review of the N100DC. In the past I’ve purchased similar boards where you just add one or two components.

Does anyone have trouble searching Newegg for products like these that already come with a processor? I feel as if it is overly difficult to identify.

If you go to the homepage and go to the components > motherboards they have AMD, Intel, and embedded. Those type of motherboards are under embedded. Sometimes they forget to tag motherboard with basic stuff like socket or the embedded CPU, so you can’t find them using key words until they fix it. It’s been a problem with Newegg for a while. You might be better of using a search engine instead of the site, which is an even broader problem with websites anymore.

As broken as Newegg is it’s still waaaay better than trying to find specific components on Amazon
Newegg used to be a bit better before they added 3rd party market place

I was explicitly trying to find an N100 board on Amazon and never managed to find anything. By a stroke of luck it was recommended through a different search. Go figure.
