I vehemently disagree Threadripper PRO 7000-series are not suitable for high-end gaming.
60 ns memory read access with 8-channel DDR5 ECC RDIMMs at 6400 MT/s with only 1.3v VDD/VDDQ/VDDIO and 1.15v VSOC.
32-core all-core clocks sustained under load at 5.0GHz with peak clocks as high as about 5550MHz.
Couple this with a 4090 and you are off to the races.
This is a Threadripper PRO 7975WX on an ASUS Pro WS WRX90E-SAGE SE and 256GB (8x32GB) of V-Color DDR5-7200 memory (2 kits of TRA532G72D834Q).
Just need to tune it correctly in BIOS with a hefty watercooling solution to keep it under thermal control.
