I am trying to make my first computer build (and i am SO excited) and I need to know if everything works good for the price and is as efficient as possible. Attached is a link to my PCPartPicker build. Please respond as soon as possible so that i can order the parts. Thanks in advance for the help

If you can go without SSD or HDD (Not both lul) for now, you could get a better GFX card. Just my .02. I dont mean to be rude but googling threads and forming your own opinion is a good idea if your going to drop 1500 dollars on a setup.
@Gamier_Games so you you recommend something like a GTX GeForce 980? and as far as the SSD/HHD duo, that is because i do a lot of video editing and i want something fast for boot and top programs (such as Photoshop, After Effects etc...) while also having something that can handle storage.
I mean sure i guess, i also "Recommend" the Titan X. buy the best you can afford, thats all.
Are you being truthful in your saying that you do video editing? Or do you want to get into video editing? I found myself in a pickle when i bought a 290 and now i get like 999999999999 frames on all my games lul. I only really play indies and borderlands 2.
@Gamier_Games Well i do YouTube (Even though im not that popular XD) and i edit all those videos pretty good (IMO) i was alse thinking about the i7-4790k for the hyper-threading but that's too much money for me XD, anyways i will look at the forums more and try to make form my own opinion like you said, thanks for the advice :D
Your welcome, again i dont mean to be rude, but its 1500 dollars... If it were me i would be looking at reviews of every single product i was buying, comparing similarly priced items ect. Im probably weird though.
If doing you are doing video editing get this lets hope its not too late........:
CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($232.99 @ SuperBiiz)
It's basically an i7 without the intergrated graphics cpu. it supports hyperthreading which will perform better than the i5 in video editing
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($28.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Basically just to keep the system more quite
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B85-HD3 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($63.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Since that I have recommended you a locked cpu you do not need to go and spend much on the motherboard. its has nice feature such as PWM fan controls and such
Memory: Kingston Fury Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($89.99 @ Newegg)
16gbs dual channel can upgrade with more RAM in the future if needed.
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($97.89 @ OutletPC)
Highly reccomended SSD. I own one and its perfomance is insane
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($69.89 @ OutletPC)
Enough for storage for video editing and Youtube Videos for now
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB Superclocked+ ACX 2.0+ Video Card ($679.99 @ NCIX US)
Basically a cut down version of the GTX Titan X but more bang for your buck
Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case ($64.99 @ Micro Center)
A decent case that has a nice minimalistic look to it
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($76.99 @
SuperBiiz)
Enough juice to power all your components and its gold rated which means that you will be saving a bit on your power bill.
Monitor: Asus VX228H 60Hz 21.5" Monitor ($139.99 @ Best Buy)
A decent monitor and was the cheapest and decent one to fit under budget. could only afford 1 thought but its plenty for most people
Total: $1545.70

Whats rig primary purpose - gaming? if so you could drop down to an i5 and save a lot of money. Or go to a xeon w/h97 board ~ again save some cash to put towards larger monitor maybe...
If it were me I'd go for another psu - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/antec-power-supply-hcg620m (seasonic design and same'ish price).
@deejeta XD sorry, i forgot to put in what the build is for. It will be for mostly gaming, video editing, 3D modeling, and programming (which is why i went with the 17-4770k, for hyper threading) Also since i want to overclock my cpu do you think that the cpu cooler is good enough for overclocking? if so should i overclock the gpu as well?

Go with this, dont buy the 970 it has a memory glitch, also better monitor. The cooler is good
