It is about time I replace my iPhone4 with a cracked screen; seeing that the repairs may just go straight to a new phone, I decided to be on the lookout for a new phone that will not break the bank.
I was looking into the Asus Zenfone 5, because the price for around about 150 bucks, the looks, the fact that it is an Android os, make me salivate all over it.
I am not one for the brand names anyway, so I need not care if it's not a Samsung or Apple product, so long as the price is good, looks clean and simple, and is an Android phone.
What do you guys think of the Zenfone 5?
Do you guys have another phone around the same price ($150-200) that you'd recommend?
Slightly out of my current price point me thinks, but anyways, I am not in too much of a hurry to get a new phone, I might be able to save up for this.
Actually the S5 would actually be more expensive; to figure out the price of a phone on contract you usually want to add at least $480 to the initial contract payment, depending on the carrier. So the S5 would cost about $580 whereas a Nexus 5 is about $350.
I would recommend the Moto G or the LTE if your into that high speed data thing. The 2nd gens are getting an upgraded 8 MP shooter with front speakers and microsd card support.
