New Smartphone from China?

Hello everyone, I think its come time to finally upgrade from my beloved Samsung S6. I was looking for something Rugged (with water resistance) and a big battery. So I found the Ulefone Armor 3 phone. With an IP68 rating and a whopping 10300mah battery should do nicely. I wanted to get yalls opinion and what there may be to risk by getting a Chinese phone like this or if anyone has had experience with this brand at all. Thanks for the help!

Give the Doogee S60 a look. There are several rugged smartphones out there.

General recommendation on local groups about chinese phones is to always go with larger brands such as Xiaomi or Huawei.
I’ve been using a Xiaomi Black Shark since january and its marvelous, best phone i’ve ever laid my hands on.

Getting a phone that does not have the bands that are used in your country. So look out for that.

Don’t expect it to ever get updated to android 9, devices from these kinds of manufacturers are typically abandonware pretty quick; which means no security updates.
