For one why would you go 2011. Unless your getting a six core to me 2011 is a waste and your better off with 1155. aswell that processor is not overclockable and will be fast now but in the future will be slower compared to newer stuff.

Other than that I would reccomend a 1155 motherboard and a 3770k

what do you want to do with your PC? Only gaming or also other things?

Also, what's your budget?

Thanks for the reply, High end gaming, Some rendering and  $2,000 Budget.

I'm more concerned with compatability of parts, I'd hate to order it all and realize something not compatable.

Would something like this be more practible?  Sabertooth x77 with i7 3770k?

Basically all you need with a pretty decent general purpose gaming keyboard

MSI vs EVGA  680? Pros Cons?

If the X77 says Ram compatability is DDR3-1066/1333/1600 can you still run the G.Skill Ripjaws 1866 like you suggested in the above post?

can someone explain?

A 20" a screen? Maybe you could swap the 600T for a 300R or 200R, which will do just as good, so you can put a little more money to the screen. Or maybe downgrade that keyboard

It's the z77 it supports

DDR3 1866/1600/1333

As for the gpus, that evga is a reference 4gb, and i linked you an after market cooled 2gb card. I guess you'd say the evga would offer a better rounded workstation, but you could grab the 4gb version of the MSI card just as easily. It's up to you i was just saving you money on stuff you dont need.

As far as I know, as long as your okay with overclocking, none. If not, and usually if money is not a problem, the one with the higher clock might be better

4 x DIMM, Max. 32GB, DDR3 1866/1600/1333 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory
Dual Channel Memory Architecture

Thanks they must have had a typo or wrong info on that pcpartpicker site.

I agree with this, i read 550D for some reason. 300R is a damn nice case, so is the 550D but it wont buy you a better monitor.
