New Rig for Vfio Pci-e passthrough

So I’m building a new PC as my previous build (x79 Asus rampage 4 extreme with and e5-2650) didn’t support vt-d and I wanted to have my main OS as a Linux distro so here we are.
-New Mobo is a dual socket Intel intel s2600cp I got off gumtree.

  • Got two E5 2670 stepping C2 for $200 from AliExpress
    -Gpus I had in my previous build and they are a Gigabyte G1 gaming 970 and a before the ddr4 scandel gigabyte Gt 1030

Just looking for any experience that anyone has had with these dual socket server boards.
