New power supply?

So the other day I was playing planetside 2( I have a 7850 gpu). My gpu went blank and used the hdmi off my mother board. Obviously I can't game on my cpu. So I let a few days pass and now my pc doesn't turn on at all. Was it my PS that was malfunctioning causing not to be able to turn on my gpu?

Its possible that your GPU fried. I would remove it from the computer and see if it posts. If your not posting with the GPU out you might be correct about the power supply, especially since it looks like you had an issue when it was under load.

What PSU were you running?

It's a fried GPU.

I checked my computer last night and now it wont turn on. Maybe it was the PS?

Take the GPU out and see if it'll boot then. Otherwise that GPU might've screwed up some other sheet in your system, perhaps.

Do you know anyone who might have an extra PSU or one that can be easily removed from a system that you know is functioning? Disconnect your old unit and plug the temp one in. Everything boots, it's probably the old PSU.
