Dont buy a core i3 for gaming. I know everyone has good things to say about intel, and for good reason, compare it to an FX 4300 and it will blow it out of the water in games like battlefield. And you cannot overclock an i3, at all. Take a look at duncan 33303's video on his 600 dollar build. He can only run on medium settings. Its because his processor is not good enough.
Doesnt really answer my question very well bro haha
grab a 660 instead uses about half as much power but has higher framerates its only 20 bucks more you might as well get it

also I call bull shit on the i3 3220 can't game, the only thing it can't handle is high player count battle field 3

You get much better performance out of a 7770 for very little cost compared to other cards.
well he could buy a cheaper 7750 and and crossfire it and achive higher frame rates so that's not really an option, but a 7850 or a 660 would provide higher framerates than the 2 7750s crossfired
is a 10 FPS increase worth the 120 he'd put into a 7770

660 or 7850 he over doubles the frame rate
