New pc I am thinking of getting. Suggestions?

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Cxnp Opinions on what I could add/change to make it better?

What is your primary use going to be? If it's gaming, go for something cheaper tbh

What's wrong with his rig if it's for gaming? It's a pretty good build. The only thing is you could probably drop your memory down to like 8gb of 1866. And I would also suggest getting an SSD for a boot drive.

I agree with this ^

It's a really good build indeed, but if it's primarly for gaming he can get something cheaper and still have playable performance

There's a difference between playable performance and high performance, though, and chances are he probably knew this if he went with a build that expensive.

More expensive builds will always be better in my view anyway. It will last longer.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

My one suggestion is switching the cooler to something more reliable, I've heard the Xigmatek Dark Knight Hawk edition that Logan reviewed can perform like an h80 or h100 for about $50, and it doesn't have the hastle of water cooling.

Looks like a solid build. I'd personally change the cooler to an air cooler at that price point and reduce the RAM to 1866 but to each their own. As far as what's been said above, I agree with Toast.

Edited it and here is the new result http://pcpartpicker.com/p/CVCV

My small revisions. Could get a pricier cooler but it's whatever. I'm in love with those ASUS IPS Panel monitors.

But is it's main purpose?

But this is what I'd do if I had the cash for a gaming rig or a editting rid.

Gaming:

There's enough power to do extensive overclocking, and add a second GPU later on without a problem.

Edditing:

Dual Nvidia cards for all that CUDA, a beast of a CPU, and a solid, powerful power supply that's 80+ and won't kill your electric bill!

But hey, this is what I would do in each case.

This build is for gaming just to clear things up.

Looks pretty awesome. It is possible to make it a little cheaper, but it isn't really going to be that much of a difference.
