New PC Ethernet not detected

So i just built a rig almost similar to recent 700$ video. I didnt buy a optical drive because I didnt think i need it but now i cant install the drivers from the CD, and my rig isnt detecting the Ethernet cable. please help Thank you

what motherboard do you have?

if you put the disc in another computer and uses a flash drive and copy all the driver files over then install them.  There might be an easier way that I don't know of

Can you download the drivers on your phone and then connect the phone as mass storage device?

There are your drivers (the ones on the disc will be out of date anyway)

i have no pcs with a cd drive lol

Think the point is he/she doesn't have wireless, so needs ethernet to even get online?

Is there anyway someone can get on skype with me im using my phone for skype

All phones come with usb leads just plug the phone in to the computer and it will pick it up as a storage device then you can copy the drivers from the phone to pc (dont use one of the computers usb 3.0 ports thay will need drivers to work)
