New PC Builder! Need help!

Hello everyone, I came to this site because I know you are great with helping people out and some of you have previous experience. So, here is the deal:

I am REALLY REALLY scared with building a new PC. I ask myself questions like; "What if I plug something in wrong?" or "What if my PC doesn't perform very well?", and "What if my CPU doesn't stay cool?",things like that worry me.

So, I built a PC (from research) on PCPartPicker.com, and I came up with this build.

Before you read the build, I need to tell you a few things.

  1. My budget is around 700-800$, this is including an OS (windows 8)
  2. I live in the United States of America
  3. I will be using my PC for MINECRAFT(lots),recording Minecraft with FRAPS(lots),simple video editing with Windows Movie Maker, web browsing, youtube video watching, and watching TV and movies on Netflix.
  4. I would like an AMD CPU.

Now, after you check out my build, please comment on anything/parts I should be concerned about, ways I can improve the build, etc. etc.

Here is the build;

your build looks good just keep in mind that recording things takes a lot of room and the base price of this build is $830 before rebates.  But I would highly recommend you stick with the build above it will play any game out there right now with great fps

Okay, thanks. Will my CPU stay cool enough with the AMD fan it comes with?

For minecraft this is overkill lol

This is WAYYY overkill for minecraft. you will be able to run crysis 3 on high

Thanks :3

Another question: Will the 7950 graphics card fit into the Corsair 400R case?

depends which 7950 you are geting.

max graphics card length for you case is: 316mm (14.4094488 inches)

I feel like I should go with a 7870 or a 7850. Only because looking at the reviews, the HIS 7950 a huge card and it can get hot.

If I went with this build, the total cost is only 809$ without deals/rebates. I used a smaller card, how would this rig do?

Dang lol you really need a 7850 for minecraft? Are you running a 512x512 texture with shaders?

Well maybe :P I am also recording too.

just get like i5 and 660 best choice for editing and gaming

You think I should get an i5? Those are expensive as HECK.

Get like i5 2320 they dont make them anymore but u can get it from ebay
