New PC Build

Hey Teks,

I'm thinking about building a new PC, something mainly used for gaming. I'd like an Intel Chip, preferably the 3570K or 3770k which is still undecided. I'm planning on buying parts over time to get it finished but i'm looking for the case and motherboard to get started.

I like the fractal r4 but it's £80, anything simalar but a little lower? And what motherboard suggestions to you think? I don't want to Crossfire/SLI but I'd like a chipset that can RAID a couple, maybe 3x 60GB SSDS, must be SATA 3 (6Gb/s).

Also for the future, what graphics cards to people suggest, 660Ti, 7000 Series? Something that can run Battlefield 3 on High / Ultra would be perfect. I'm hoping to set my budget around the £700 / £800 mark in total after building.

Suggestions are very welcome, also what's so wrong with the FX Bulldozers? I've heard to much stuff about them hence why im going i5/i7.

Thanks, Oliver.

amd buldozer is not realy a bad cpu it wasent the performence peapoll where expecting anyway whit your buget i whould say a amd build would be good uless someone else can come up whit a intel rig :/

bulldozer is outdated and replaced with Piledriver which has 10-15% better single threaded performance

the FX-6300 is equivalent to the i5-3570K whereas the FX-8350 is equivalent to the i7-3770K
