New Pc build(advice)

Hi,

Im new to the forums and am going to build a new pc soon. I've decided that im goin with an fx-8350 and 7970. Going to try to overclock the 8350 to 4.8 and maybe the gpu a little. Please give advice if i need a different Psu or better gpu. I may CF later on. This is mainly gaming and Video editing. Also, an SSD is not that important to me, i dont care much about boot or load times. If i run into some manoy later on i may get one. I'll also be recording with fraps or Dxtory. I'm trying to stick as close to 1500$ as I can, this is including a monitor and keyboard.

Get a CoolerMaster Seidon 240M Water Cooler instead of the H100i. About 50 bucks cheaper and equal in cooling ability. Other than that your build looks solid.

dude your build is good just try to get SSD, so it'll be much faster and also the Acer H236HL IPS display is also really good.

Here is the unboxing of it: http://bit.ly/Z9vSOJ

Will it really give me the same performance? I do plan on OCing to 4.8. Will it give me cool temps?

Oh yeah is it also silent (relatively)? Otherwise it looks like a solid alternative.

I forgot to add this. Will it fit in my case? All of the components while still having nice cable management?

It's pretty silent, probably more silent than a video card. It'll definitely be able to get a 8350 to 4.8 Ghz.

And yes, it will fit your case.

Cool, thanks for the advice :D

That's what we're here for <3 Have fun building!

Very solid build! Be careful if you do decide to go with the suggested CoolerMaster Seidon 240M. I found a reviewer that stated it could ONLY fit in a pull configuration (radiator inside chassis with fans on top) with the Phantom 410 case. The Corsair H100i CAN fit properly in the top area in a push configuration with fans inside the chassis, I have read from a few places that stated as much.

Other than that, I like the look of your build. Have fun!
