Hello all, I'm looking to get three new monitors. These will be used for gaming using Nvidia surround, production, and just basic use. Below is the requirements.
VESA or mountable
1920x1080
5MS or less
around 100-150 per monitor. Not made of money :(
21in is the smallest I can go
From the USA, so needs to be in dollars.
Thanks for any suggestions I've looked at a few but just wanted to get a second opinion here.
Thats a tough price to work right now the magic monitor price seems to be 200-220 if you went +$50 your options would open up into even 25"-27" or much better gaming/image performance/accuracy. That $50-80 dollars gets you from a ford focus to a bmw. I would wait till you had an extra $150 to spend or skip surround and just get a nice gaming monitor and 2 used aux monitors. I would recommend against anything smaller than 23" in super wide format but thats just my opinion. I use a 25" main, acer 16:10 19" for tools and a 16:10 22". I would not game on the smaller monitors after using 23"+ . Also measure twice and make sure that 3 way bracket is tall enough to have the middle of the screens be a eye level. Low screens are bad for your back and color/contrast/brightness. You want your back and neck straight or slightly back never leaning forward 90 degrees at your legs and arms to insure proper posture. A good monitor and desk setup is essential take myt advice I learned the hard way could not walk unassisted for almost 8 months and needed back surgery.
Id recommend the RL BenQ but they effed up the design imho and put the buttons on the side you would have to ask if they can be flush mounted to each other
If you check benq regularly they do have demos available in limited quantities but go out of stock fast
The main reason I don't get bigger monitors is because of my desk. I personally do not see a difference from a 21in to 27in. It's just a bigger screen which I would need to sit further away from. Also I said I plan to use these as a surround displays and for my OCD I'd really like them all to be the same. I'm not too keen on the color correctness as I am partially color blind. I do like that 139 Asus though. Might bump my price up a bit or drop to a lower resolution.
Do like that refurb one I will watch those videos when I get home.
