Damn Intel 8th generation is a mess.
So we got Z370 rushed with kaby lake PCH because Intel panicked over Ryzen. Now we have the rest of the 300-series boards with cannon lake PCH which the Z370 was also supposed to have.
Cannon lake was supposed to have launched in Q4’17 but is still nowhere to be seen.

What I hear through the grapevine at Intel is that cannon lake is gonna be a very limited product line with some Y and U series parts included in the 8th gen lineup, and depending on when Ice lake is ready we might see a z390 chipset and an 8 core coffee lake i7/i9.
